The month of March is known as Women’s History Month. Every year it highlights the contributions of women to culture, history, and modern society. The U.S formalized this celebration in 1987 to recognize achievements by women who have made an impact in the world we live in today. Historically there has been a shortage of women in Tech companies, yet they have participated in shaping and pioneering technology for years. Woman have been responsible for how we interact with computers through the development of programming languages, how we see information through displays, how we communication through telephony, how fast we can share data through the internet, the evolution of gaming, and design interfaces. Yet, with all these accomplishments, women still have a less dominant role in the Tech industry than men. In fact, less than 5% of tech start-ups are women owned. For this reason NTG is proud of its own heritage, earning a strong reputation as a leader in the Managed Services Provider tech space. As an Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business, our CEO has been a visionary in growing a company that not only provides excellent services but harnesses a positive work environment where the team grows together. NTG’s commitment to hard work is evident in the passion it places into its Five Core Values that guide them today. Through strong leadership and a foundation built on a Customer 1st mentality, Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Hard Work, Wendy Hafner has been able to build a company, from the ground up, on strong values and solid leadership.
